1. From http://www.raceshots.net/events.html, click on the event link to the photos that you wish to view. Clicking on this link will allow you to view the "thumbnail images" of all the photos from that race (please note that there may be more than one page of thumbnail images per event).
2. You may view a larger photo for any thumbnail image simply by clicking on the thumbnail image or by clicking on the magnifying glass image just below the thumbnail image. All photos are posted in the order of finish, (i.e. top finishers are posted first, mid-packers are posted in the middle, and back-of-the-packers will be posted last). Therefore, if there are three pages of thumbnail images, you will find most of the top finishers on the first page, most of the mid-packers on the second page, and the final finishers on the third page.

To order a digital download file of any image, please scroll down to the "DIGITAL DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS" section below.
4. THE CHECKOUT PROCESS
A. Once you arrive at the "View Cart" page, your order will be summarized in the middle of the page. Thumbnail image/s
of the photo/s that you have selected will be displayed, along with the quantities you have ordered (one image will be
displayed at a time -- click on the "+" or "-" signs by each photo's name to toggle between more than one image -- or click
the "See All" option under the "Order Detail" header and you will be able to view all the images in your cart at once).
You may change the quantities, sizes, and crop the photos if you wish. If you make any changes to your order, be sure to
click on the "Update Cart" button to finalize the changes. NOTE: Please make sure that you review the cropping
before ordering, especially for 5x7 and 8x10 prints. Click on the "Crop it" link and a pop-up window will show your image.
It will show the cropping for a 4x6 print as default -- click on the size photo that you wish to purchase to view how it
will be cropped. If you do not like the way the photo is cropped (i.e. it is cutting off a body part or something worse),
then select the no cropping option and your photo will be printed without any cropping. If you select the no cropping
option, depending on the size of the print ordered, there may be a small amount of "white space" at the left/right sides
of the photos.
B. You may also change the type of paper that your photo is printed on (glossy is the default, but there are several other
options that you may choose from).
C. You may also select a frame from our wide selection of beautiful photo frames. Simply click on the "Frame This Photo"
link under the thumbnail image of the photo/s that you wish to have framed.
D. You may also choose to have your photo blown up into a poster-sized print. Simply click on the "Add a Poster" link
below the thumbnail image of the photo/s that you wish to have made into a poster. You will then have the option to select
your poster size. All of our files are of extremely high quality and resolution and will create outstanding posters.
E. You may also choose to have your photo turned into a fantastic gift item, such as greeting cards, T-shirts, coffee
mugs, sweatshirts, puzzles, mouse pads and many other fantastic gift items. To do so, simply click on the "Add a Gift" link
below the thumbnail image of the photo/s that you wish to create gifts from. From there, follow the instructions to create
the gift item that you wish.
F. Once you have your selections finalized, click on the "Check Out" button.
G. You will then enter your shipping information. Once you have completed that, click on the "Check Out" button.
E. You will then enter your billing information. For web site orders we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and
American Express. You also have the option to change your shipping method (choose from USPS, 2-Day, or Overnight delivery
options). Once you have entered all your information and selected your shipping method, click on the "Check Out" button.
5. ORDER DELIVERY
Your order will be completed and delivered to you promptly. You will receive a confirmation e-mail along with order
tracking information.
While browsing the photo albums, you may always click on the “How to Buy” button on the left-hand side of the page for more information and a step-by-step “walk through” of the photo purchasing system.
DIGITAL DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
To order a digital download file of any photo (this will provide you with the digital image file that you may have for your
personal use), please follow the instructions below:
TWO WAYS TO ORDER A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD:
1. The "Easier" Way (but a little slower in delivery):
E-mail us at orders@raceshots.net and we will fulfill your order.
We will need the following information to fulfill your order:
A. The image name (this is right above the thumbnail view of the image, or if you place your cursor over
the image, Windows will tell you the name of the image)
B. The race name
C. Whether you would like a Large File ($25 per image) or a Small File ($15) per image. A Small File is suitable for
internet use (posting to web sites, e-mailing to friends/family, viewing on your monitor, etc.). A Large File is good for
those same uses, plus you can take the file to your favorite photolab and they can create prints from that file for you.
D. Before we can fulfill your order, we will need to receive payment. When we receive your order, we will contact you with
payment information.
2. The "Harder" Way (a little trickier, but you will receive the image much more quickly):
A. Find your photo/s on the web site. Jot down (or copy) the image name (this is right above the thumbnail view of the
image, or if you place your cursor over the image, Windows will tell you the name of the image).
B. Then go to www.dotphoto.com. Near the top right-hand side of that page is a link labeled "Search Photos." click on
that link.
C. Next, click on the "Advanced Search Mode" button.
D. Type (or paste) the image name of your photo in the "includes all words" search box. Click "Search."
E. You will need to add your photo/s to your lightbox. Select your photo/s and click on the "Add to Lightbox" button.
F. Once you have added the photo/s to your lightbox, you will need to view your lightbox. Click on the "View Lightbox" button
(this won't appear until you have added at least one image to your lightbox).
G. While viewing your lightbox, click on the "+" sign of the image that you wish to purchase a digital download. This will
allow you to view a larger image of your photo. You also will then select the "Screen Res" (Small File) download or a "Hi
Res" (Large File) download. Click on the "Add to Cart" button to select which type of file you wish to purchase.
H. If you wish to purchase more than one digital download, you may return to your lightbox and follow the same steps for
additional images.
I. Once you have added all images that you wish to purchase digital downloads of into your cart, you then need to click on
the "View Cart" button to proceed to the checkout.
J. From that point, please follow the "Checkout Process" instructions listed above.
